The "Shalimar Gardens" was constructed by the Far East Oriental Trading Company (Pvt) Ltd
( then Far East Oriental Trading Group) in the year 1999 in Kunming, China. It is an exact replica of
the world famous and historical "Shalimar Gardens" in Lahore, Pakistan. This garden was gifted to the
Chinese Government as it stands to date bearing testimony to the Harmonious Craftmanship and Goodwill
of the People of Pakistan towards the People of China.




Mr. Abdul Wahid, Chief Executive of the Far East Oriental Trading Company (Pvt) Ltd. Stands
proudly in front of the Shalimar Gardens-China, which he envisaged and created.
